WORKPLACE ENGLISH

What Is Workplace English?

Workplace English is not General English, test-preparation English, or everyday English conversation. It is a structured communication training system designed for professionals who need English in real workplace situations such as job interviews, meetings, presentations, client communication, cross-functional collaboration, management, and leadership.

We do not just teach English. We train English communication skills for the workplace.

THE DIFFERENCE

Why General English Is Not Enough for Real Workplace Communication

Most English courses help learners understand the language. Workplace English trains professionals to speak, communicate clearly, and express their expertise effectively at work.

Traditional English Learning

  • Focuses mainly on grammar, vocabulary, examinations, or everyday conversation
  • Emphasizes understanding English rather than responding confidently in real workplace situations
  • Business English often focuses on correspondence, email writing, or commercial terminology
  • Provides limited practice for meetings, presentations, client communication, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Learners may study for years and still hesitate to speak in front of managers, clients, or colleagues

OUR STORY

Why We Created the Workplace English Training System

Over the years, we have met many professionals who studied English for a long time and understood a great deal of grammar and vocabulary, yet still struggled to speak naturally during interviews, meetings, presentations, or conversations with managers and clients.

The problem was not a lack of effort. The real problem was the absence of a structured speaking program built around the professional growth path and everyday communication needs of working adults.

That is why AI English King Co-founders Philip Wang and Luiz Chang developed this four-stage Workplace English program. It helps learners begin with the confidence to speak and gradually develop the communication skills and leadership mindset required at higher levels of the workplace.

Philip Wang

CO-FOUNDER · WORKPLACE COMMUNICATION

Philip has extensive professional experience and is a senior trainer in spoken communication. He understands why many professionals hesitate to speak at work, lack confidence when expressing themselves, and struggle to turn years of English study into practical communication ability.

Luiz Chang

CO-FOUNDER · ENGLISH LEARNING DEVELOPMENT

Luiz worked with Philip to develop the curriculum structure, English learning materials, and progressive training content. Together, they transformed real workplace situations into a system that learners can understand, practise, and internalize step by step.

LEARN WITH AI COACH

AI Coach Helps Busy Professionals Practise Consistently

Workplace English cannot be developed through occasional study alone. AI Coach is included with the four-stage curriculum, allowing learners to practise privately on their phones during commutes, breaks, and other available moments.

Turn Small Moments into Daily Progress

Learners can record the fixed course texts and submit their recordings to an AI voice model. The system provides feedback on areas such as pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, and fluency, helping learners identify what they may improve during their next practice session.

AI Coach is not designed to replace a human teacher, nor do we make exaggerated claims about the accuracy of AI-based analysis. Its purpose is to provide a supportive learning environment where learners can practise privately, make mistakes without embarrassment, repeat as often as needed, and progress at their own pace.

  • Practise during commutes and spare moments
  • Speak without the pressure of making mistakes in public
  • Record and repeat at your own pace
  • Build progress through consistent daily practice

Three Practice Modes

Word Mode

Provides feedback on individual word Pronunciation, Phonemes, and Word Stress.

Sentence Mode

Provides feedback on sentence-level Intonation, Linking, Rhythm, and Fluency.

Article Mode

Provides feedback on Speaking Speed, Pauses, Fluency, and Overall Delivery in short spoken passages.

AI Coach uses the fixed words, sentences, and articles included in the curriculum. It is provided as a learning support tool when learners purchase a Stage.

THE LEARNING JOURNEY

Follow the Right Learning Sequence and Make English Your Own

Every word, sentence, and article in the program is based on language professionals need in the workplace. The goal is not only to understand the material, but to practise it, remember it, and gradually build a personal Workplace English communication database.

STEP 01

Master the Essential Words

Learn the meaning, pronunciation, and stress of each word to build a strong speaking foundation.

STEP 02

Practise the Golden Sentences

Follow the pause, stress, linking, and intonation markings while repeatedly practising complete sentences.

STEP 03

Complete the Practical Articles

Use approximately twenty-second articles to combine vocabulary, sentence patterns, rhythm, and workplace scenarios.

STEP 04

Practise with AI Coach

Record your voice and review the analysis feedback to identify areas that may need improvement.

STEP 05

Internalize and Apply

Move useful expressions into long-term memory so they can be used naturally in real workplace situations.

Progress Step by Step, Not Through Shortcuts

Workplace English development requires time and consistent practice. Each Stage is designed to be completed over approximately three months, with all four Stages covering a twelve-month learning journey. Follow the curriculum in sequence, review regularly, and avoid rushing ahead before the foundational content has been mastered.

Important Learning Guide: For maximum training efficiency, please focus first on AI Coach Word Mode to improve individual word pronunciation. Do not proceed to Sentence Mode or Article Mode until you have thoroughly practised and mastered the Golden Sentences and Practical Articles.

Follow the Speaking Markings to Build Natural Rhythm

Every Golden Sentence includes reference markings for pauses, word stress, linking, and intonation. Follow these markings during practice to gradually improve sentence rhythm and fluency.
